Enjoying the Fall Season & Special Offers at The Envoy Hotel

The Envoy Hotel is Boston’s premier, . With elegant, Seaport District accommodations, it’s a fantastic spot to stay during the upcoming fall season. With both rooms and suites available, it’s great for many different size groups, families, and business professionals traveling for work. With 136 guest rooms to choose from, there’s an option for everyone.

The fall season in Boston begins to cool down quickly, with average highs cooling off into the middle 70s in September, low 60s in October, and down into the low 50s in November. When visiting, remember to bring your winter clothes and always wear layers. You can always take clothes off, but if you didn’t bring enough for the cool weather, you’ll be running out to buy some.

Since we’re located right on the Boston waterfront, temperatures near us tend to be even cooler as the wind picks up from the bay. Although, it’s worth it since staying near the waterfront gives you convenient access to all of the nearby restaurants, shops, and events.

Throughout October there are live music events at restaurants on most Friday and weekend nights. Check our  page for more information and details. With the weather as gorgeous as it is during the day, an art walk is always a great choice, as well as a quick cruise on the harbor, or just walking through the historic neighborhoods before grabbing a bite to eat.

If you’re looking for an actual event to attend, there are plenty to see at theaters in the Boston area in both October and November. Types of shows and dates change often, so check out Boston Theater‘s website for more information on what’s available for a viewing.

As we get into November, the weather cools off even more and the area begins to bustle with holiday busyness. The Boston Opera House has many shows each year around this time, including the holiday-themed Nutcracker Ballet. For more information on the upcoming show schedule, check out the official  website.

Last but not least, getting into late-November the Frog Pond at the Boston Common opens up for ice skating and holiday festivities; bring the family or go on a romantic date for the evening and have a blast. The Frog Pond Café also opens up to give guests a way to warm up or cool off from all the skating you’ve done. Work up an appetite? Food is also available.
