The fall season in Boston begins to cool down quickly, with average highs cooling off into the middle 70s in September, low 60s in October, and down into the low 50s in November. When visiting, remember to bring your winter clothes and always wear layers. With the weather as gorgeous as it is during the day, an art walk is always a great choice, as well as a quick cruise on the harbor, or just walking through the historic neighborhoods before grabbing a bite to eat.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re looking for an actual event to attend, there are plenty to see at theaters in the Boston area in both October and November. Types of shows and dates change often, so check out Boston Theater<\/a>‘s website for more information on what\u2019s available for a viewing.<\/p>\n

As we get into November, the weather cools off even more and the area begins to bustle with holiday busyness. The Boston Opera House has many shows each year around this time, including the holiday-themed Nutcracker Ballet. Last but not least, getting into late-November the Frog Pond at the Boston Common opens up for ice skating and holiday festivities; bring the family or go on a romantic date for the evening and have a blast.
