Covid-19 Procedures: Our staff is given a 30 minute window of time before and after each reservation to properly clean and sanitize each igloo. Current regulations in the City of Boston allow for a maximum of 6 guests per table seating, and we are held to those numbers inside the Igloos and ice Boxes as well. Masks are to be worn and proper social distancing procedures are to be followed when waiting in line, on the elevators, in any public space, and when using the restrooms. Guests refusing to wear masks will be asked to leave the premises.
Parking: Parking is available at the One Seaport Square Garage directly across the street from the front doors of the Envoy Hotel. Due to health and safety requirements we currently do not offer valet parking services and do not validate parking for the One Seaport Square Garage .
Beverage Minimums: Each igloo is subject to a beverage minimum dependent on date and time. The beverage minimum does not include food, although food is offered. (menus can be found here.) Failure to meet the beverage minimum will result in a charge to reach that minimum before tax and 18% gratuity.
Cancellations/No Shows: The Igloo’s are reservation only and therefore carry cancellation/no show fees. A 66% fee (based on the beverage minimum) will be charged to the credit card on file if the reservation is cancelled within 72 hours of its scheduled time. A 100% fee (based on the beverage minimum) will be charged to the credit card on file if the reservation is cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled time or if the guests fail to show for their scheduled timeslot. In the event of a state weather emergency, cancellation fees will not be assessed. Any cancellations outside of 72 hours will not be assessed a fee.
We are no longer a 21+ establishment, and all ages are welcome, although the beverage minimums do stay the same regardless of the age of the party participants. In the event all guests are under 21 years of age, a fee will be charged to reach the minimum before tax and 18% gratuity.
Support Animals: City of Boston health code regulations does not allow for emotional support animals on the roof or in the Igloos/Ice Boxes. Service animals are allowed for persons with visual or physical disabilities only.
Smoking: Massachusetts State Law restricts Vaping and/or Smoking anywhere on property, including on the roof top or in igloos.
Dress Code: There is currently no dress code for the igloos, although we recommend dressing warmly, in layers as the temperatures start to drop. The igloos are heated, but are not hot with average temperatures ranging in the 50’s in the heart of winter.
Elevators: Please avoid jumping in the elevators. Jumping in the elevator causes damages resulting in them needed to be shut down for repair. Patrons who are found to be jumping in the elevator will be billed for the cost of the repair.
