What time is check-in at the hotel? Is early check-in possible?
Check-In time begins at 3 pm, Early check in is based on availability of the requested room category.
What time is checkout at the hotel? Is late checkout possible?
Checkout time is 12 pm, Late checkout can be extended at an additional charge of $75 until 4 pm, anything after 4 pm would be a half day rate.
Is there an age minimum for check-in?
Guests must be over the age of 21 to check in and provide proper forms of identification and credit.
What is the hotel’s cancellation policy?
The envoy's current cancellation policy is 72 hours prior to arrival.
Are pets welcome at the hotel? What facilities and services are available for pets?
Yes well behaved pets are welcome at the Envoy. A one time pet fee of $100 per pet would be applied to the guest folio. There is no charge for Service Animals. Additional fees may apply for any damage in the guestroom created by the pet. Pet amenities include, dog bowls, beds, toys, treats, directions to dog friendly parks.
Is smoking allowed at the hotel?
The Envoy is a smoke free hotel. If a guest smokes in a room there is a $250 cleaning fee. if the room has to be taken out of service due to the condition of smoke in the room, the guest would be charged the full daily best available rate (BAR) based on what rate the hotel is charging for that day.
Facilities and Services
Does the hotel offer parking?
Due to the Coronavirus the hotel is currently not offering valet parking services. Once restrictions are lifted, the hotel will once again offer valet parking services at $55 per night, per vehicle. Parking for day or F&B parking requests are available at $20 (once valet parking is reestablished). Self-Parking is available at One Seaport Square garage, directly across from the Envoy Hotel at $49 per night.
Is public transportation accessible from the hotel?
Yes, the Silver line (T-Stop) is one block from the Envoy hotel, (approximately a 2 minutes walk). The silver line will bring you to South station main terminal to connect to the red line or will bring you out to Boston/Logan International Airport. The red line is approximately a 10 minute walk from the envoy hotel.
Is the hotel ADA accessible? What accessible features are offered at the hotel?
Yes we have 7 ADA accessible guest rooms in the hotel which feature, ergonomically designed furnishings to accommodate wheelchair bound guests, roll in showers, safety grab bars, showerchairs, additional phone in bathroom, doorbells with flashing lights. Hearing accessible equipment.
Are children welcome at the hotel? What facilities and services are available for children?
Children are welcome at the Envoy Hotel in presence of a parent or guardian.Toys, games, movies, videos, special kids menus. The Envoy is also located just steps from the Boston Children's Museum, the Martin Richards Memorial park (Playground), Boston Tea Party Museum and a short walk from the New England Aquarium and Faneuil Hall/Quincy Market.
Can I receive mail and packages at the hotel?
Yes, mail and packages can be sent to the guests attention 2 days prior to arrival. Any packages sent beyond 2 days prior to arrival will be charged a storage fee of $25 per package.
What dining options are available at The Envoy?
Lookout Rooftop is open and available for dining reservations. Guests of the hotel are encouraged to join us Thursday through Sunday for lunch, dinner, and late-night bites.
Lookout Rooftop serves up favorites like Smash Burgers, Korean Barbecue Chicken Thighs and Tostones with Guacamole as well as an extensive list of handcrafted cocktails and local beers. Soak in the views of the skyline and the Boston Harbor and see why Lookout Rooftop was named one of the best rooftop bars in America. Make a reservation in advance or speak with our guest services team located in the Lobby.
As required by Executive Order from Governor Charlie Baker and the State of Massachusetts: Alcohol sold for on-premise consumption must be accompanied by food prepared on-site. An item of prepared food must be ordered at the same time as the initial alcoholic beverage(s) order. Any patron seeking to order an alcoholic beverage for on-premise consumption must consume prepared food in accordance with the Order, the guidance, and the Advisory.
Do you have to wear a mask at the hotel?
Yes, following the federal guidelines and for the safety of our guests and team members, you are required to wear a mask in all public spaces of the hotel and restaurant. If you’re dining with us, once you’re seated at your table you may remove your face mask. These guidelines are in accordance with Marriott standards and the State of Massachusetts requirements.
Is valet/or self-parking available?
For the convenience of our hotel guests, we are currently offering self-parking available directly across the street at One Seaport Garage. If luggage assistance is required, please contact the front desk upon arrival at 617-338-3030.
What else should I know prior to arrival?
The Envoy Hotel uses mobile key entry which allows Marriott Bonvoy members to use their smartphone as their key, offering a complete mobile check-in experience and providing members with more control over their arrival experience.

What if I need to cancel my reservation?
Our flexible reservation policies as follows:
For guests with existing reservations for any future arrival date, the policies that were in place at the time of reservation, or as previously communicated, will continue to be honored.
Reservations with pre-paid rates will be subject to the rate offer rules communicated at the time of reservation. Please note that changes to the reservation will be subject to availability and any rate differences.
For guests making new reservations for arrival dates on or after October 1, individual hotel cancellation policies in place at the time of the reservation will apply. Please note that this policy does not apply to travel associated with a Group booking. For guests with Group reservations (e.g., for meetings, events, or conferences), please review the booking rate rules and contact the group organizer for more information.
How Can Gift Cards Be Purchased?
Gift cards can be purchased online here directly on our website.
What Deals Are Available?
Gift cards can be purchased in increments of $100 from $100 to $500.
How Do I Redeem My Gift Card?
Starting on August 1, 2020, you can apply gift cards to room rate charges by simply presenting your gift card at check-out to apply towards eligible charge
Does A Gift Card Expire?
The purchase value of your gift card never expires.
What Charges Can I Use My Gift Card For?
Guests can use these towards reservations booked via the hotel’s website or by calling the hotel directly. Gift cards cannot be applied towards bookings made on a third party site, such as Expedia. Gift cards cannot be redeemed for restaurant, in-room dining, parking, taxes, fees or other charges.
Can I Use A Gift Card At Another Affiliated Hotel?
No, gift cards are only redeemable at the hotel that it was purchased. The hotel name is displayed on the gift card.
Can I Purchase A Gift Card As A Gift?
Yes! You can purchase a gift card that will be sent to your recipient’s email address.
What Types Of Gift Cards Are Available?
Our gift cards are electronic only. They can be presented via mobile device or via print out for redemption. Physical gift cards are not available.
