Friends of the Public Garden, in partnership with The Boston Parks and Recreation Department, have collaborated to create this year's annual Duckling Day. This beloved event celebrates the classic children's book "Make Way for Ducklings" by author Robert McCloskey. In years past, nearly 1,000 participants have paraded through the city's parks, dressed in their favorite duckling duds. Due to ongoing CDC recommendations, the parade will be virtual in 2021.
